World Design Capital
Year 2012 was the year Helsinki was chosen to hold the title of World Design Capital. Sauna Finlandia is one of the projects supported by the World Design Capital concept.
At the 2012 Venice Biennale, the Finnish Pavilion presented “New Forms in Wood” – where the Sauna Finlandia plans were featured.
